Job summary

The Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking a Seasonal Mountain Chef to lead culinary operations across Lookout Kitchen, Mountain Camp Cafe, the Prep Kitchen, and the Living Room. You will oversee food production, plating, quality, and staff development in a fast-paced mountain setting.

Open to weekends/holidays, 40+ hours per week, with a pay rate of $30.00–$32.00 per hour DOE. This role requires strong leadership, menu execution, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have professional culinary experience.
• Experience leading kitchen teams.
• Ability to train and develop cooks.
• Strong leadership and communication.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays.
• 40+ hours weekly.
• Food handlers permit within 30 days.
• Must be 21+.

Responsibilities

• Oversee culinary operations for Lookout Kitchen, Mountain Camp Cafe, the Prep Kitchen, and the Living Room.
• Maintain food quality and plating standards.
• Inspect outlets daily for taste and prep.
• Coach and develop culinary staff.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and cost controls.
• Ensure health department compliance.
