Job summary

Park City Mountain is seeking a Sous Chef for the Red Tail Grill during the 2026/27 winter season. This role supports daily culinary operations in a high-volume restaurant and collaborates with the Chef to lead the kitchen team and maintain quality and efficiency throughout service.

The position offers competitive wages ($52,000–$58,000 hourly equivalent annual pay), on-site housing may be available, and opportunities for training, development, and advancement within a major mountain resort

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Advanced culinary skills.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Able to stand or walk for 12 hours.
• Able to carry 50+ lbs.
• ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef with menu planning and production.
• Lead kitchen operations during high-volume services.
• Ensure food safety and HACCP compliance.
• Manage scheduling and labor distribution.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, and costs.
• Train culinary interns.
