Job summary

Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking an experienced sous chef to join the Food & Beverage team. The Sous Chef will manage daily kitchen operations, lead staff, ensure food quality and safety, and drive efficient execution in a high-volume mountain resort setting.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, thrives in season resort operations, and is passionate about delivering a memorable guest experience. ServSafe certification or ability to obtain is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as a Line Cook or Prep Cook preferred.
• 1+ years as Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager preferred.
• Formal Culinary Training/Degree preferred.
• ServSafe Certification, or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and maintaining high‑quality, consistent food offerings.
• Execute menus efficiently during peak service periods.
• Support menu development, specials and seasonal offerings with Chef.
