Job summary

Azul Hospitality is seeking an experienced bartender to provide friendly, efficient service in a high-volume hotel bar in California. You will prepare drinks, describe menus, take orders, restock supplies, and ensure compliance with age-verification policies.

The role includes cash handling, opening/closing duties, and supporting the bar team. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of bar experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a clean, safe bar area.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of high-volume bar experience preferred.
• Certified in Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers and RBS (California) would be plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for guests and servers.
• Take beverage and food orders at the bar and assist with bar setup.
• Restock bar inventory and secure all liquor, beer and wine.
• Operate a cash register and handle payments with accuracy.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and assist with deep cleaning as needed.
• Verify IDs to ensure legal drinking age and monitor for intoxication.
• Assist servers and other bartenders as required.
