Green Circle Growers was founded in 1968 by John van Wingerden. With just a few acres, Green Circle Growers began selling to other companies like variety stores, lumber yards, hardware stores, and grocery stores. Today, Green Circle Growers is still owned and operated by the van Wingerden family and has grown to over 170 acres of indoor growing space. Our state-of-the-art greenhouses offer many different environments to keep up with the demanding market. We provide plants to regional and national stores across the U.S. and Canada, marketing broad products to mass merchants and growers. Our retail market demands a full line of annuals in flats, containers, and baskets, and our grower line produces pre-finished containers, plugs, and liners.

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable Seasonal Merchandisers to join our team! In this role, you will manage merchandising activities at Home Depot stores across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. The position offers flexible hours based on product sales, up to 40 hours per week.

Job Duties

• Display, price, and maintain all annuals, perennials, and houseplants within assigned store spaces
• Handle product disposal as needed to maintain standards
• Build strong relationships with store management and staff for effective collaboration
• Coordinate with Green Circle Growers’ management to resolve issues
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Environment & Requirements

• Work in retail facilities, outdoors, or in-store; may experience extreme heat or cold depending on season
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions
• Frequent walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling (up to 200 lbs), bending, crouching
• Occasional sitting, standing, fine dexterity, climbing, handling
• Operate machinery, drive vehicles, or use tools as needed
• Weekends and some holidays (Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day) required
