Job summary

Excel Fitness is seeking a Part-Time Member Services Representative in Bellmead, TX to deliver high-quality member experiences and maintain club standards. You will handle member interactions, assist with promotions, and ensure club cleanliness and safety.

The role requires standing for long periods, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Training and certifications (CPR/AED) are required within the initial period of employment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification and AED Certification are required before working alone.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods.
• Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Must be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.
• Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, vision, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
• Ensure that all proper training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and uphold Excel standards.
• Input and update prospective and current member information into tablets and point of sale.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
• Communicate with members and create a high level of member service.
• Assist GM and AM with club membership promotions, training, and implementation of operational strategies.
