Job summary

Excel Fitness in Garland, TX is seeking a Member Services Rep at the front desk for a full-time, on-site role. You will handle member interactions, promote services, maintain club cleanliness, and ensure procedures are followed to provide outstanding member experiences.

The role requires CPR/AED certification, excellent communication, and the ability to stand for long periods. You will balance cash drawers, update member data, and support promotions and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/AED certification required before working alone; training offered within first 30 days.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Team-oriented, motivated and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and proactively solve problems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, and culture, and Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
• Ensure all training for safe and efficient operation is completed.
• Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS.
• Ensure members adhere to company policies and guidelines and address infractions.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
• Communicate with members and provide high level member service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the shift.
• Assist GM and AM with member promotions, training, and operational strategies.
