Job summary

CityMD is hiring a Seasonal Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients, register them and coordinate with the team for timely care. You will handle paperwork, insurance verification, and navigate billing questions with courtesy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and empathy for patients in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills are a plus depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Typing speed ~55 wpm with basic computer skills.
• Bilingual skills helpful depending on site.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming patients.
• Organizing and coordinating patient intake and other appointments.
• Accurately enters/updates patient information in system.
• Assisting patients with completion of paperwork when necessary.
• Scanning, updating and filing medical records.
• Answering phone calls and patient questions promptly and politely.
• Processing insurance information and verifying eligibility; liaising with Billing as needed.
• Handling cash and co-payments accurately.
• Providing outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Informing site manager of waiting room wait times and inquiries.
