Location: Watertown, SD
Employment Type: Seasonal (May – August)
Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm - up to 40 hours week
About the Position:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Seasonal Maintenance Worker to assist with general maintenance tasks from May through the end of August. This role includes both indoor and outdoor responsibilities to ensure our facilities and grounds remain in top condition.
Responsibilities:
• Perform general indoor maintenance, including painting, repairs, and other fixes.
• Conduct outdoor maintenance such as trimming trees and bushes, cutting down trees, and spraying weeds.
• Assist with seasonal air conditioning preventative maintenance.
• Perform minor roof repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain and clean fleet vehicles as needed.
• Handle varmint removal to ensure a safe environment.
• Support other maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in general maintenance or related work preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Comfortable working at heights for roof maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
