Seasonal Maintenance Staff

Essential Functions

• Walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull, bend, climb stairs and ladders, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor related to the repair and maintenance of buildings and grounds
• Perform landscaping of grounds
• Repair or modify existing exhibits
• Construct new exhibits following management instructions

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and pass pre-employment screening
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record
• Basic knowledge of construction principles and practices
• Ability to operate golf carts and power tools
• Ability to follow both oral and written instructions
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor
• Ability to work under adverse conditions, including weather and heights
• Background in carpentry, masonry, and/or welding is preferred
