General Summary:

Position Overview:

This role involves custodial and maintenance repair duties, including:

1. Cleaning offices, lobbies, and other areas; repairing furniture and equipment; mopping, sweeping, buffing/waxing floors; scrubbing sinks, toilets, countertops, walls/ceilings; washing windows; polishing mirrors and glass; vacuuming; shampooing carpets; replenishing soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
2. Performing minor repairs such as fixing broken locks and filling wall gaps.
3. Checking control panels and electrical wiring for issues.
4. Installing appliances and equipment.
5. Conducting maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs, snow and ice removal, litter removal from grounds, door/window maintenance, moving furniture, and stocking supplies.
6. Inspecting and making minor repairs to equipment, furniture, and facilities.
7. Troubleshooting equipment and systems such as ventilation.
8. Checking safety systems like fire alarms.
9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent, with at least one (1) year of related experience. Valid vehicle operator’s license required. If driving company vehicles, must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance coverage requirements. If using personal vehicles for work, proof of insurance is required.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to operate a personal motor vehicle safely on a weekly basis, complying with the agency’s vehicle safety program.
2. Balancing to maintain body equilibrium on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
3. Stooping for prolonged periods.
4. Lifting up to 50 lbs independently.
5. Pushing or pulling up to 35 lbs.
6. Reaching in any direction.
7. Standing for extended periods.

Schedule - In Person:

Part-Time: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 11 am to 4 pm (5 hours per day)

Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
