Job Summary

We are seeking a recent graduate in industrial technology or an experienced Remote Service Technician to service customers in the Kalamazoo area. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, maintaining heavy equipment, and working with a company-provided service truck. Training may be provided at our Marne location for 1-2 years before transferring to this remote position.

Essential Functions

• Perform vehicle and equipment repairs and maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Follow safety practices
• Design and fabricate mechanical components
• Work with electrical systems, including computerized systems
• Use diagnostic tools and power/hand tools
• Weld using acetylene and electric arc methods
• Drive vehicles and equipment for diagnostics
• Maintain effective working relationships
• Follow instructions and manufacturer specifications
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• Conduct DOT inspections on trucks and trailers

Qualifications

• Possess or obtain a Class 'A' CDL
• Experience with heavy-duty vehicles preferred
• Experience in agriculture is a plus
• Willingness to pass background checks, drug screening, and MVR
