Job summary
Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support transportation and supply chain operations during a high-volume seasonal period in Chicago. You will coordinate daily shipping activities, communicate with transportation providers, monitor deliveries, and help resolve logistical challenges to ensure customers receive orders accurately and on time.

Qualifications
- 1–2 years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Hands-on SAP experience required.
- Intermediate/advanced Excel skills with PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
- Strong communication and relationship-management abilities.
- Experience with warehouse or transportation management systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily freight movements with transportation providers.
- Review outstanding orders, carrier assignments, and shipping schedules.
- Confirm carrier availability and transportation capabilities.
- Collaborate across distribution, customer service, and sales teams.
- Provide shipment updates to partners and customers.
- Track delivery performance, inventory availability, and carrier reliability.
- Analyze transportation data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve freight billing discrepancies and related inquiries.
- Maintain shipping documentation and carrier certificates.
- Support contract administration and reporting activities using SAP and Excel.
