Lake Superior & Ishpeming Railroad, Inc. in Negaunee, MI seeks a Locomotive Conductor/Engineer to safely operate trains and locomotives, perform inspections, and maintain accurate records per GCOR rules and FRA regulations.

This is a call board position with 24/7 coverage, and may be seasonal based on Great Lakes shipping schedules. Ideal candidates will hold GCOR qualification, Engineer/Conductor certification, a valid driver's license, and a TWIC card.

Qualifications

• GCOR rules knowledge and qualification required.
• Engineer/Conductor certification required.
• TWIC card and valid driver's license must be current.

Responsabilités

• Operate trains and locomotives safely and efficiently.
• Perform locomotive inspections and record-keeping.
• Follow GCOR and FRA regulations and communicate with crews and customers.
• Be available for call-outs on a 24/7 basis.
