Harbor Rail Services is seeking a full-time Conductor to oversee train operations and movement with a focus on safety and reliability. You will operate locomotives, perform hostler duties, and coordinate with dispatchers to ensure on-time delivery across multiple locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, fluency in English, and the ability to communicate with diverse teams. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in varied conditions and be ready for overtime and travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English fluently.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, contractors, vendors and partners.

Responsibilities

• Operate locomotive equipment and perform hostler operations between shop locations and switching areas.
• Responsible for train operation and movement ensuring safety and on-time performance.
• Follow safety procedures and communicate with dispatchers via radio.
• Perform daily inspections, read gauges and understand signals and placards.
• On-call responsibilities and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
