Morey's Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Line Cook/Prep Cook to prepare menu items per internal recipes, set up kitchen and prep supplies, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. You will work closely with the kitchen team to deliver consistent taste and presentation during the busy summer season.

Ideal candidates have culinary training or experience, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication.

• Culinary training or experience required.
• Strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines and practices.

Responsabilités

• Must be comfortable with preparing food including cleaning, cutting, and cooking.
• Must be familiar with common ingredients.
• One to two years of experience as a line or prep cook preferred.
• Must maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements.
• Ability to communicate well with staff.
• Must be able to work in a fast environment.
• Timeliness is required as well as adherence to grooming standards.
• Availability to work weekends, especially during the summer season.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, or stretch for long periods of time.
• Ability to take and follow directions from the executive and/or sous chef.
