Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking a Seasonal Line Cook to join our kitchen team and showcase high standards of quality through presentation, preparation and cooking. This is a seasonal position from now to October.

Job duties include following brand and IHM recipes, preparing and plating menu items, and ensuring the kitchen remains well-stocked and clean. Working conditions require handling hot equipment and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Follow brand and IHM SOPs to prepare food and beverages.
• Strong initiative and teamwork.
• Ability to handle problems in the workplace including anticipating and solving issues.
• Works well in stressful situations.
• Basic knowledge of operating all Food and Beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow provided brand and IHM recipes when cooking to serve guests.
• Prepare and plate all food items on the menu.
• Receive food and beverage orders as needed.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation after service.
