Job summary

Vail Resorts, Inc. is seeking a Lift Experience Team Lead to oversee daily lift operations and lead a team of operators and scanners.

You’ll ensure safe, efficient service on lifts, manage staffing, and coordinate with patrol and maintenance on mountain operations. Qualified candidates have 1–2 years of lift or mountain operations experience, good English communication, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of lift or mountain operations experience.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily lift operations, including staffing and opening/closing procedures.
• Assist with hiring, training, and safety for operators and scanners.
• Monitor operator performance and provide feedback and recognition.
• Enforce laws and policies to ensure guest safety.
• Collaborate with ski patrol, safety, maintenance to resolve issues.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations.
• Address guest questions and provide timely resolutions.
• Support ticket scanning as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
