Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking a Lift Experience Team Lead to oversee the safe operation of resort lifts and supervise the Lift Experience Team. You will schedule staff, ensure efficient opening and closing procedures, and maintain a high standard of guest service across all lift operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of lift or mountain operations experience, strong English communication, and the physical ability to assist guests during loading.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of lift or mountain operations experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of resort lifts, including scheduling staff and procedures for opening/closing lifts.
• Assist with hiring, training, and performance feedback for operators and scanners.
• Enforce safety policies and coordinate with ski patrol and maintenance teams.
• Resolve guest questions and concerns, providing timely and courteous service.
• Support ticket scanning and act as a flexible Lift Experience Team member as needed.
