Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a Lift Maintenance Assistant to provide lift dispatch coverage during the winter season. You will coordinate daily radio traffic, relay information between lift operations and maintenance, and help ensure safe, reliable lift service for guests.

The role requires 18+ years, basic knowledge of lifts, and the ability to work in a winter environment. This is an entry-level, seasonal position with potential for advancement and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Experience with ski lifts is a plus but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience using phone with multiple lines.
• Basic knowledge of aerial lifts, surface lifts, and related equipment.
• Current first aid card is desirable.
• Valid unrestricted US Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch daily radio traffic to lift operations and maintenance.
• Track lift malfunctions and downtime, issuing work orders as needed.
• Communicate with Lift Maintenance Manager about any development affecting maintenance quality.
• Maintain calm, organized communication in demanding situations.
• Support other duties as assigned to ensure safe lift operation and guest service.
