Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a Lift Maintenance Assistant for the winter season. This entry-level, on-site role coordinates with lift operations, mechanics, electricians, and patrol to ensure safe, efficient dispatch and communication.

You will learn policies and procedures, follow OSHA and ANSI standards, and assist with line work or seat pad replacement as needed. This role offers potential advancement and a dynamic mountain environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience with ski lifts is a plus but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Track lift malfunctions and issue work orders.
• Maintain a detailed chronology during extended downtimes.
• Coordinate and dispatch daily radio traffic.
• Inform management of developments affecting maintenance records.
• Create and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Coordinate with other departments.
• Initiate work orders for unscheduled maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
