Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a Lift Maintenance Assistant for the winter season to support lift dispatch and maintenance coordination. You will liaise with lift operations, mechanics, electricians, and patrol to ensure safe, reliable lift service and timely communication during all shifts.

The role is entry-level with potential for advancement. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid US driver’s license and basic radio/phone skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with ski lifts is a plus but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to operate a multi-line phone and two-way radio.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch daily radio traffic for lift operations.
• Inform management of maintenance developments affecting records.
• Maintain a positive, professional work atmosphere for guests and staff.
• Communicate with departments to coordinate lift needs and downtime.
• Initiate work orders for unscheduled maintenance from downtime reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including seat pad replacement or line work.
• Keep detailed logs during downtimes and emergencies.
