Job summary

Limelight Hotels is seeking a Steward/Prep Cook for Mammoth Lakes, CA. You will clean, stack, and store dishes, assist in food preparation, and follow chef directions. This seasonal, full-time role reports to the Executive Chef and supports a busy resort kitchen during peak seasons.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, consistency, and good communication, with benefits including paid time off, paid leave, and an employee ski pass.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• ServSafe or similar food safety course certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, stack, and clean all dishes properly.
• Store dishes and silver in the designated locations.
• Set up cleaning area: operate dish machine, fill water tanks, and ensure equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment and assist with pre/post shift cleaning.
• Assist with storage of food deliveries and inventory control.
• Report any problems with food, equipment or work area to a Chef/Sous chef.
• Other duties as assigned.
