Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking a Kitchen Staff member to join our Operations team. The role requires at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience and culinary training is preferred.

You will prepare menu items, ensure quality, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment in a high-volume cinema setting. Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience, culinary training preferred.
• If does not meet experience requirements, position can start as a dishwasher and/or prep cook with career growth potential.
• ServSafe training certification preferred or must complete training before going on the line.
• Proficiency in kitchen operations and execution.
• Working knowledge of U.S. measurements (weight and volume).
• Ability to follow instructions on safe use of chemicals/cleaning materials.
• Must work effectively with supervisors and co-workers with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to walk, lift, twist, bend, reach, and handle food products frequently.
• Good communication skills with support personnel and management.
• Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations calmly.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus, but not required.
• Flexible working hours including holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Show Passion and Commitment by preparing menu items accurately and promptly when ordered through the point of sale system.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff to ensure high quality and timely output.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and workstations.
• Follow all opening, mid and closing procedures.
• Assist with inventory and restocking as needed.
