Job summary

Cinépolis USA is seeking a Kitchen Staff member to ensure quality and timely preparation of menu items in a fast-paced theater environment. You will follow established recipes, maintain cleanliness, and support the kitchen team to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Experience in professional kitchens and familiarity with safety guidelines are important. The role offers non-exempt, full-time employment with opportunities for growth and employee discounts on tickets and concessions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional kitchen experience.
• Culinary training preferred.
• Experience with dishwashing, prep/cook, and expediting.
• ServSafe training certification preferred or must complete training provided by Cinépolis prior to going on the line.
• Proficiency in kitchen operations and execution.
• Working knowledge of U.S. measurements (weight/volume).
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to bend, lift, and handle food products safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items accurately and promptly when ordered through the point of sale system.
• Maintain food quality and consistency according to recipes and guidelines.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and FIFO practices to reduce waste.
• Keep kitchen areas clean and organized throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening, mid, and closing procedures and trainings as assigned.
