Job summary

Cinépolis USA is hiring Kitchen Staff for its Austin theater. The role focuses on preparing menu items quickly, following recipes, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of kitchen experience; ServSafe training is preferred. This is a non-exempt, part-time position with flexible hours including holidays and weekends, reporting to the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience, culinary training preferred.
• ServSafe training certification preferred or must complete training provided by Cinépolis prior to going on the line.
• Proficiency in kitchen operations and execution.
• Must be able to follow instructions on safe use of all chemical/cleaning materials.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Show passion and commitment by preparing menu items accurately and promptly when ordered through point of sale system.
• Follow recipes to maintain quality and consistency throughout Cinépolis.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary working area and follow opening, mid and closing procedures.
• Remake items when instructed by a supervisor or manager and assist with inventory awareness.
• Work safely, lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
