Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps. You will oversee daily culinary operations, supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This on-site, live-in position requires a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week, seasonal May through September, with competitive pay, bonus, and room and board. You will collaborate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate team to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (Allergens required before start).
• Strong leadership and budgeting abilities.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding min 6-day/70-hour week.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain top sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, place orders, control budgets, and track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
