Job summary

Sur La Table in Albany, NY is seeking a Seasonal Kitchen Assistant to support chefs during culinary classes and daily store operations. You’ll engage guests, maintain a clean, safe kitchen, and help deliver memorable, hands-on experiences that align with our #bestincenter standard.

Ideal candidates bring enthusiasm for cooking, hospitality, and teamwork, with at least 1 year in retail or kitchen ops, strong communication, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older at time of employment.
• 1 year retail sales experience, preferred.
• 1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience, preferred.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail systems preferred.
