Job summary

Burton is seeking a friendly, team-oriented person to join our seasonal pop-up store in North Conway, NH as a Keyholder. You’ll connect with riders of all ages and abilities, help customers find what they’re seeking, and share Burton’s stories and product moments with the local snowboard community.

As a team member, you’ll drive a platinum customer experience, support daily retail operations, and help coach fellow associates.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Keyholder or sales lead experience in retail is strongly desired.
• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a specialty or sales driven environment.
• Outgoing, social and enjoy engaging others.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal team members and external customers.
• Physical requirements include ability to twist, bend, squat, go up and down stairs, reach, lift 50 pounds, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Drive a platinum experience for each Burton customer.
• Strive to achieve store sales goals.
• Open & close the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Take an active role in coaching and developing Store Associates.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and eagerness to stay current on all products, moments, stories and events.
• Assist your team in executing all daily retail operations to support smooth store function.
• Be an active member of the local community by attending and supporting in-store events.
• Model flexibility by working nights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
• Perform tasks including point of sale operations, shipping/receiving, stocking, housekeeping and visual displays as necessary.
• Uphold all company policies.
