Job summary

Southern Tide, LLC in Ashburn, VA seeks a part-time Crew Member to deliver friendly, boutique service and drive sales. You’ll greet customers, present and suggest merchandise, manage POS operations, and support inventory tasks with a proactive attitude.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, 2+ years retail experience, strong computer skills (Excel/Word), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends is a plus.

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required.

Responsibilities

• Present and sell merchandise by interacting with customers.
• Provide merchandising suggestions to management to improve sales.
• Build a personal client book.
• Learn POS software and troubleshoot in the absence of store management.
• Process routine register transactions and inventory transfers.
• Share current product knowledge with customers and provide fashion advice.
• Participate in store meetings to meet sales and service goals.
• Operate store per company policies and protect assets.
• Suggest ideas for merchandising, staffing, displays, or hours to grow the business.
• Assist in cycle counts and year-end inventories.
• Open/close registers in the absence of managers.
