Job summary

The Salvation Army seeks a Kettle Driver to support the Christmas Campaign by transporting Bell Ringers, equipment, and donations. The role requires interaction with the public in a friendly, compassionate manner and adherence to mission values.

Responsibilities include moving gear between kettle sites, providing equipment to Bell Ringers, performing site checks, and ensuring secure handling of money. Local travel is required. Temporary position up to 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for the Salvation Army mission.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and annual motor vehicle check with valid license.
• Proficient knowledge of roads in the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Transport Bell Ringers, equipment and donations to and from kettle sites.
• Provide aprons, badges, kettles, and bells to Bell Ringers and collect at end of shift.
• Conduct site checks to ensure Bell Ringers are present as assigned.
• Secure monies at all times.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned and fueled at end of shift.
• Maintain positive work atmosphere and professional communication.
• Maintain compliance with Safe from Harm certification.
• Perform other duties related to Seasonal Christmas activities.
