Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Christmas Kettle Driver to support the Christmas Campaign by transporting bell ringers, equipment, and donations. The role requires a courteous interaction with the public and safe handling of kettle activities across designated sites.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to pass background checks, and hold a valid driver’s license with knowledge of local roads.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be passionate about fulfilling the Salvation Army mission.
• Must pass pre-employment background inquiry and annual motor vehicle check.
• Valid driver’s license and knowledge of local roads in the territory.

Responsibilities

• Transport Bell Ringers, equipment, and donations to kettle sites.
• Provide aprons, badges, kettles, and bells to Bell Ringers and collect them at shift end.
• Conduct periodic site checks to ensure Bell Ringers are present.
• Secure monies at all times.
• Ensure vehicles are cleaned and fueled at shift end.
• Maintain positive work atmosphere and professional communication.
• Maintain compliance with Safe from Harm certification.
• Perform other duties related to Seasonal Christmas activities.
