Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 16 years of age at the start of employment.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to consistently work evenings and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job site.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring appropriate behavior and safety guidelines are followed by participants in the warming house and skating areas.
• Create and maintain the staff schedule for all warming house locations.
• Occasionally check in on staff at the warming houses.
• Collect accident reports and information regarding accidents, disruptive behavior, or maintenance issues from staff and report to supervisor.
• Relay any feedback heard from staff or the community to supervisor.
• Carry out instructions given by supervisor promptly and accurately.
• Submit verbal and written reports and evaluations as required.
• Opening and closing duties daily.
• Participant counts taken hourly.
• Cleaning duties as assigned.
• Assist maintenance staff with rink maintenance and other duties as deemed necessary.
