Job summary

The City of Chanhassen is seeking a Rink Attendant Manager to serve as the on-site supervisor of outdoor ice rinks and warming houses. You will lead staff, enforce park rules, and promote safe recreation, while overseeing scheduling across locations during the winter season.

Responsibilities include monitoring safety, creating staff schedules, collecting reports, and reporting to a supervisor. Applicants should be available evenings and weekends and have reliable transportation to the job site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age at the start of employment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to consistently work evenings and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job site.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules and supervise behavior in warming house and skating area.
• Create and maintain staff schedule for warming house locations.
• Check on staff at the warming houses.
• Collect accident reports and relay information to supervisor.
• Submit verbal and written reports and evaluations as required.
• Open and close duties daily.
• Take participant counts hourly.
• Assist maintenance staff with rink upkeep and other duties.
