Job summary

The City of Bloomington is seeking a seasonal, part-time Warming House Attendant to supervise a park shelter and an outdoor ice rink, enforcing rules and assisting skaters. You will help with daily attendance logs, minor injuries, and emergency requests, while supporting building upkeep and scheduling.

Expected season runs from early December through late February, with evening and weekend shifts. This role requires 16+ and the ability to shovel snow. Background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be 16 years or older.
• Ability to shovel snow off walkways and ice rinks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise park shelter and outdoor ice rink operations.
• Enforce park and skating rules and provide customer service.
• Interact with skaters and record daily skating attendance.
• Assist with injury reporting and emergency requests; complete injury reports.
• Prepare monthly work schedules and perform basic building maintenance like sweeping and snow removal.
