Job summary

City of Fort Wayne seeks a Seasonal Riverfront supervisor with 25–40 hours per week, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Lead daily operations at the Headwaters Ice Rink, ensuring a safe, welcoming guest experience for shoppers, staff, and the community.

You will oversee 15–20 seasonal staff, manage admissions and finances, and support programs, concessions, and skate sessions while maintaining top customer service and public-facing operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of leadership, recreation, or customer service experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations at the Headwaters Ice Rink and ensure safety and guest experience.
• Oversee 15–20 seasonal staff and volunteers, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Manage admissions, cash handling, deposits, inventory, and financial reporting.
• Enforce safety rules and resolve guest concerns.
• Plan, staff, and support programs, events, concessions, and skate sessions.
• Provide direct supervision to approximately 15–20 seasonal employees.
