Job summary

City of Florissant seeks a Seasonal Assistant Rink Manager to help operate winter and summer rink seasons, ensuring a safe, fun environment for the community. You’ll support staff, rentals, programs, and events while maintaining equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities include daily operations, opening/closing, cash handling, and basic clerical duties, with opportunities to learn and use equipment like Zamboni and ice edger. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or in process of obtaining diploma.
• CPR Certification by a nationally accredited organization or willing to obtain within 30 days after hire.
• AED Certification by a nationally accredited organization.
• First Aid Certification by a nationally accredited organization or willing to obtain within 30 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily rink operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Supervise and support seasonal rink staff and rink guards.
• Assist with scheduling, rentals, programs, leagues, and special events.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Monitor facility cleanliness, safety, and equipment.
