Job summary

Washington Harbour Ice Rink, operated by Sports Facilities Management, LLC, seeks Skate Hosts to create a safe, welcoming environment. This guest-facing role monitors the ice, assists guests, and enforces safety procedures for an enjoyable experience.

REPORTS TO: General Manager. STATUS: Seasonal (Non-Exempt). Must be at least 18, an intermediate skater, and available evenings, weekends, and holidays; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Intermediate-level skater or better.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to skate for extended periods.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Previous Skate Host experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor skaters on the ice and help maintain a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Greet guests warmly and offer guidance and support as needed.
• Provide exceptional guest service on and off the ice.
• Enforce rink rules and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist guests during incidents or falls and contact management when necessary.
• Assist with events, setup, monitoring, and cleanup as required.
