Job summary

SPS North America is hiring Skate Hosts for The Rink at Rockefeller Center in New York City for the 2026–27 season. The role requires skating proficiency, excellent English communication, and a customer-focused, safety-conscious approach to guiding guests on and around the ice.

Qualifications

• Skating proficiency is required.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong guest-services skills with the ability to engage guests warmly.
• Ability to manage large groups and maintain safety in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the ice and surrounding areas to promote safety and enjoyment.
• Enforce rink safety guidelines and guest conduct standards.
• Verify admission and ensure proper ice flow.
• Direct guests during entry, exit, and peak periods.
• Respond to falls or injuries; assist Medic on Duty as needed.
• Engage guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist guests entering, exiting, and navigating the rink.
• Provide information about The Rink, Rockefeller Center, and offerings.
• Handle rental skate services, exchanges, cleaning, and storage.
• Support general rink operations and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Be flexible to assist in other areas; training provided.
