Job summary

SPS is seeking a Skate Host for The Rink at Rockefeller Center in New York. You will help create a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience on and around the ice, enforcing skating rules and assisting guests during busy times.

Ideal candidates have strong skating experience, sound judgment, and the ability to engage diverse audiences with warmth. Training is provided; weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong skating ability and comfort working on/near ice in cold outdoor conditions.
• Must be willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ice and surrounding areas for safety and enjoyment.
• Enforce rink safety guidelines and guest conduct standards.
• Assist guests with entry/exit and provide directions and information.
• Handle rental skate operations, cleaning, and storage.
• Support general rink operations and report safety or maintenance concerns.
