Job summary

The Salvation Army in Indiana is seeking a seasonal data entry assistant to support HR operations during peak season. You will handle data entry for bell ringer processing and assist in maintaining HR records.

Responsibilities include ensuring confidentiality, performing periodic audits, and providing clerical support to the HR department. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for an associate degree in business.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree with emphasis on business preferred.
• Background check required and will be reviewed.
• One year of experience in human resources, business, or similar administrative role.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within the first 30 days of employment.
• Able to speak, write and understand English for effective communication with leadership, staff, and clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Date entry for bell ringer processing during Christmas kettle season.
• Maintain accurate HR files and records (electronic and paper).
• Maintain confidentiality of HR files and records.
• Perform audits of HR files to ensure required documents are collected.
• Provide clerical support to the HR department.
