State of Delaware seeks a Casual/Seasonal Human Resources Advisor III to provide advanced HR guidance for one or more agencies. This on-site role in Dover, DE involves complex compliance work and independent judgment in applying HR laws and policies.

The position supports stakeholders, analyzes needs, and uses HRIS tools to produce reports, while assisting with payroll data as required. Work is limited to 29.5 hours per week.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
• Three years of professional HR experience, or two years plus a Statewide HR certification.
• Two years’ experience supporting an HR function.
• Two years’ experience advising employees and management on HR inquiries.
• Two years’ experience applying HR laws, rules, and procedures.
• Two years’ experience using an automated information system for data entry and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance and recommendations to employees and management on HR matters.
• Specialize in HR functions or act as a generalist for assigned agencies.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal HR laws and policies.
• Analyze inquiries, assess impact, evaluate options, and make recommendations.
• Explain HR actions and related recommendations.
• Report workplace risk management issues to leadership.
• Research and analyze data from multiple sources; document results.
• Use automated HR systems to research and report data.
• Complete special assignments and studies.
• Participate in interviews, meetings, and presentations.
• May assist with payroll data as needed.
