Job summary

Help-of-Southern-Nevada seeks a Full Time- Seasonal team member to support the Grants and Major Gifts Manager within the Community Relations group during the holiday period. The role covers intake, drives, toy distributions, and family assistance efforts across November and December.

You will help plan events, recruit and manage volunteers, handle data, and coordinate on-site activities to ensure smooth operations and accurate donor communications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be over 21 due to event locations.
• Ability to work nights and weekends during Holiday Programs.
• Event planning experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and Canva.
• Experience with donor databases is helpful.
• Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid NV driver's license for 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake, Thanksgiving Food Drives, Turkey-Thon, Toy Drive, Toy Distribution, Agency Toy Distribution and Adopt-A-Family.
• Attend and support activities including most Fridays and Saturdays in November and December.
• Manage volunteers and on-site logistics for the Toy Drive.
• Data management, client check-in, and on-site support for Toy Distribution and Agency Toy Distribution.
• Maintain Holiday Programs database and entry of paper holiday vouchers.
• General office duties and timely communication via phone and email.
