State of Ohio Transportation - District 03 in Ashland, OH, is seeking seasonal full-time highway maintenance staff. The role entails maintaining roads, flagging, pothole patching, mowing and snow/ice operations to keep Ohio roadways safe. Hours vary with operational needs; overtime eligibility applies.

A Class B CDL with tanker endorsement is required, plus basic reading/writing in English. The position is located in multiple counties and is subject to background checks and drug testing per

Formación

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement.
• Arithmetic, addition/subtraction, decimals, percentages and fractions; ability to read, write and speak basic English.
• Must meet minimum qualifications for employment as stated in the Ohio position description.

Responsabilidades

• Serve the public and work to make Ohio roads safer.
• Perform highway maintenance tasks: flagging, pothole patching, guardrail repair, litter pickup, mowing.
• Conduct snow and ice operations when required.
