State of Ohio – Transportation District 12 in Cleveland is hiring a permanent, full-time highway maintenance worker. You will serve the public by keeping roads safe and performing tasks such as flagging, pothole patching, guardrail repairs, litter pickup, mowing, and snow and ice operations.

The role requires basic arithmetic literacy, obtaining a Class B CDL with tanker endorsement within 6 months, and adherence to safety regulations.

Competenze

• Formal arithmetic education including addition and subtraction, and reading, writing and speaking common English vocabulary.
• Must obtain Class B CDL with tanker endorsement within 6 months, with no airbrake restriction.

Mansioni

• You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.
• You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing.
• You will perform snow & ice operations.
