Job summary

Big Bear Mountain Resort is recruiting for a Snow Summit-based Area Maintenance Operator II in Big Bear Lake, CA. The role is seasonal and involves operating heavy equipment to dig earth and remove snow, with a starting wage between $26.69/hr and $32.03/hr depending on experience.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid California Class A or B license. Verifiable heavy equipment experience, ability to read and follow safety and operation manuals, and flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• At least twenty-one (21) years old.
• Valid California Class A or B driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Verifiable experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to pass Company training to operate equipment.
• Have a calm and collected demeanor during challenging operations.
• Ability to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Able to record data accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including second and third shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.
