Job summary

The Missouri Botanical Garden is seeking a seasonal Membership and Contact Center Assistant to welcome guests, share information, and promote Garden events. This part-time role (20–24 hrs/week) includes weekends and some evenings, with a term from October 12, 2026 to January 22, 2027.

Responsibilities include handling phone and email inquiries, processing tickets and memberships, and updating records in Tessitura CRM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a museum, box office, customer service, retail, or fundraising setting.
• Experience with a point-of-sale/ticketing system or CRM preferred.
• Scheduling flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; positive, energetic demeanor.
• Ability to compose clear written responses to member and visitor emails.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide information on grounds, amenities, classes, and events via phone, email, and in person.
• Process ticketing and membership transactions and update constituent records in Tessitura CRM.
• Maintain professional demeanor and escalate guest issues appropriately.
• Sell memberships and process related transactions.
• Assist with administrative tasks including fulfillment.
