Job summary

Eataly North America is seeking a Seasonal Guest Relations Associate for the Flatiron location. You will greet guests, share knowledge about products and history, and support in-store events.

You’ll provide exemplary service, handle inquiries in person, by phone, or email, and assist with payments, gift cards, and gift orders in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or restaurant experience is a plus and Italian language skills are a bonus.

Qualifications

• Guest service experience in retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and share it with guests.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Italian language ability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary guest service to all internal and external Eataly guests
• Communicates effectively to customers and staff in person, through email, and over the phone
• Handles guest situations in a professional, quick, thorough, and respectful manner.
• Collects payments from guests and issues store credits, comps, and refunds with Management discretion
• Sells and process gift cards
• Provides clients with product information
• Takes order for and prepares custom orders (grocery orders, gift box)
• Prepares and executes product tastings and demonstrations and assists with in-store events and activations
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
