CHS Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Scale Operator to join our Newark, IL team this fall. Weigh and grade grain in inbound/outbound trucks and provide courteous customer service while maintaining a safe work environment.

No experience required. Shift hours typically run 7a–7p with weekend work and potential for full-time employment after the season. Competitive pay and opportunities to earn overtime are offered.

Qualifications

• 0-6+ months of Operations/Customer Service.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work longer days, weekends, and/or holidays during peak seasons.
• Pre-employment screening may be required based on job requirements and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and grade grain in inbound and outbound trucks using computer and manual tools.
• Provide a high level of customer service by addressing customers promptly and courteously.
• Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Assist other personnel as needed.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies and regulations.
