Job summary

You will support shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced grain facility. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and the ability to perform heavy physical work.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or experience in agriculture.
• Valid driver's license required with satisfactory driving record.
• Basic math and computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery safely.
• Ability to operate, maintain and repair agricultural equipment safely and effectively.
• Forklift or heavy machinery certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects; capable of physical labor.
• Follow detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and load grain using conveyors, augers, and elevators.
• Operate and maintain grain handling machinery, including dryers and storage systems.
• Conduct quality checks on grain for moisture, weight, and specs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage practices.
• Clean and maintain grain bins, pits, and work areas for safety and hygiene.
• Assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of grain shipments, inventory, and activities.
